Because of the relatively low melting point (about 390 degrees Celsius, manufacturing temperature about 430 degrees Celsius) and a particularly narrow solidification range of zinc-alloys,
particularly close tolerances and sophisticated surfaces can be generated during zinc-die-casting. In this way the production of large quantities of a molding is possible. Small parts between
1000 pieces / h and large parts between 90 pieces / hour can be produced. The “mold-life” is set between 500.000 and 5 million castings. Castings of high precision, hardness and strength
are produced here. Zinc is processed in hot-chamber-die-casting-machines. We use zinc-die-casting, for example, in the production of handles and locks on doors, windows and doors, and of course,
for our agricultural technology products.
